Supporting someone who has disclosed sexual assault

For survivors of sexual assault, it is important to have safe and supportive networks of friends, family and workers to walk alongside them as they journey through their recovery and survival. It is normal to be impacted yourself when someone has disclosed to you their experience of sexual violence. Please remember to also take care of yourself in this journey.
