Inclusion

CASV welcomes people with disability. Everyone has the right to be safe and respected, and to access support that works for them.

Our commitment

We are committed to making our service accessible, to listening to what you need, and to working with you so that you can take part in counselling and support in a way that suits you.

How we work

Accessible spaces

Our services in Logan and Redlands are wheelchair accessible. If you have other access needs, please tell us so we can plan ahead.

Neurodivergent welcoming and affirming

CASV is a neurodivergent welcoming and affirming service. We tailor our methods to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Communication your way

We will ask how you prefer to communicate and use clear, plain language. You can ask us to explain anything again, in a different way or at a different time.

Support at your pace

You can choose what you share and how quickly. You are welcome to ask about bringing a support person, or other adjustments that would help you take part.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

Everyone is welcome at CASV. We respect culture, kinship and connection to Country, and we are committed to ongoing learning about culturally safe practice.

Culturally and linguistically diverse communities (CALD)

CASV welcomes people of all cultural, ethnic, linguistic and religious backgrounds, including migrants, refugees and people from newly arrived communities. However long you have lived in Australia, and whatever your background, you deserve to feel safe, believed and supported.

Tell us what you need

If there is anything we can do to make our service easier for you to use, please let us know when you contact us on 07 3808 3299 or admin@casv.org.au.
